(Update with 3D display and more sensors in development)
Using the basic environmental sensors on the iphone and ipod touch devices and complex statistical models you can now detect paranormal events (“ghosts”) in the palm of your hand with Ghost Detector Pro.
IMPORTANT NOTE 1:
Due to the sensitivity of the sensors heavy shaking, rotation and sudden movement will cause problems with the display (sightings flying around, or totally removed from the map to accurate be as still as possible)
IMPORTANT NOTE 2:
It can take some time for activity to be detected, some times up to 7-12 hours in non-active locations.
Feature: Scanning
Watch the radar scope and monitor detected paranormal activities.
Feature: Audio
With Ghost Detector Pro you can put your handheld on the table turn up the speaker volume and listen for the audible alerts regarding paranormal (“ghost”) activity.
or if your the sort who enjoys a quiet room, leave the sound off and keep a eye on the textual stats on the main screen.
Note:
our mathematical computations are very intense and we have tried to tune our algorithms to allow for the fastest running speed possible but this is a on going work in the future the scanning operations will be much quicker.. but right now we can only perform about 1.3 cycles per second
Roadmap:
Sensitivity controls
Support for more detailed textual output and graphing.
Support for better visual output.
Switch Display to OpenGL|ES rather then Quartz
GPS support to report areas of high activity if desired.
Happy Hunting!!

Pros and cons of Ghost Detector Pro app for iPhone and iPad
Ghost Detector Pro app good for
All day today I walked around Id fire up Ghost Detector Pro to check the area for possible activity and to see if the app was up to snuff.. to my surprise I didnt get many readings of activity just the standard beeping from the radar as it scans.. well, that WAS the case until I walked past a church on my way to the store, and pulled out the detector to do a scan and after about 10seconds 2 Ghosts appeared to be moving around right to the left of each other I decided to walk closer to the ghosts but it seems i scared them off .. the entire time my heart was beating a million faster then it had in weeks.
This app is awesome I used it at my friends house which we know is haunted for a fact and my house which I know is haunted for a fact and it worked I turned it on and tried it at my friends house it worked and were there was a ghost we walked to tht spot and it felt cold and the same thing at my house awesome
Some bad moments
Ok, this appears to be a stripped down version ghost radar. The planned updates sound really cool and Im interested in comparing and contrasting the two apps. Im giving it 3 stars because the updates sound intriguing, but as it stands, this app doesnt come close to ghost radar in terms of functionality and aesthetic appeal. Please take a lesson from the GR developer and make your updates often.
I bought this app, on a whim, just looking at different uses for my 1st gen iPad . Now, from what Ive gathered, it be my fathers house is said to be an area where activity has occurred from various people , excluding relatives. I have unexplained things happen and I have shrugged them off long enough. I used this app in the room that is claimed to have something paranormal in it. I used the detector numerous times and the same signal keeps emitting from his room. I used it in a parking lot where a reported fatal accident claimed a local resident of my neighborhood. It worked faintly, the signal came in on the radar and out. Other than that. My findings are not concluded to me at least. But this thing definitely needs updates. Seems kinda cheap....
